Vista Price Leak and Google

Microsoft's Windows Vista's OS price was leaked today. I must say, I was impressed to see that the price was not overwhelming. I am really glad to see that the upgrade for "Vista Home Basic" was $99.95! The "Vista Home Basic Full Installation" cost $199.00. Wow! That is all that I can really say right now. That is not all! Check this out! "Windows Vista Ultimate, $399/$259" That is what is amazing. Vista is also reported by Amazon.com to come out January 30, 2007. That came a lot faster than what I thought that it would be released.

In other news, my mother sent me a joke, you know a forward thing, about my main site, Google. I thought that this joke was going to be relativity dumb, but it was actually really funny. She told me to type in "failure" into the Google Search Engine. So, I did. It came up as George Bush's White House site! I thought that it was really funny. There was a link above the site that read: "Why these results?" So, I had to click it. I am a reader of the Google Blog. I love to hear from the Google Team and I was surprised that they had reacted to this situation. I am glad that they did. They might of had a lot of controversy about it. Great job handling the situation Google!

I have also been looking for different firmware for my Linksys WRT54G router. I really want new options and more security. So I was looking around for different firmware (because we all know that Linksys will not give us more options and it takes forever for them to create an update) for my router. I was looking at HyperWRT Thibor. I really liked the firmware, but I noticed that my router was not compatible with the firmware. I found out that I could not downgrade, as you would say, to my Linksys firmware. I think that it is time that we told Linksys to give us an update with more options! Viva La Upgrade!
